About Alex

A Ranger from the South
Raised under the Southern San Diego stars and skilled in the arts of celebration, Alex brings the spirit, and well-timed movie quotes, of Middle-earth to every gathering. With a love for adventure and a pint from the Green Dragon, this is one host you won't forget.

Master of Revels
From the Shire to Mordor, Alex's parties are the stuff of legend. Expect laughter, dancing, drinking, competition, and maybe even second breakfast.

Keeper of All Things LOTR
A collector and conneseur of all things Lord of the Rings, Alex has been waiting his whole life to throw a LOTR themed party. His love of LOTR started as a child, when his father, Jim, took him to see The Fellowship of the Ring in theaters. Jim was worried that Alex, only six years old, was too young to watch such amazing cinematic action and violence. But his worries were alleviated when Alex stood up and yelled "That's great!" when Lurtz had his head cut off by Aragorn.
Since then, Alex has watched the trilogy movies near a hundred times, read and reread the trilogy books, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion (twice), The Children of Hurin, and The Unfinished Tales. He's enjoyed diving into Middle Earth through some of his favorite video games, including the Return of the King video game, Battle for Middle Earth 1 & 2, LOTR online, War in the North, LOTR Conquest, Shadow of War and Shadow of Mordor. He refuses to play Gollum. But his love for LOTR and games doesn't stop there. Alex prides himself on having played LOTR Risk, LOTR Monopoly, Journeys in Middle Earth, and one of his all time favorite board games, War of the Ring.
Once upon a time, Alex owned a few LOTR swords as well, including replicas of Anduril and the Witch King's blade. He's also whipped up a couple dishes out of his LOTR Cookbook that would rival Second Breakfast. Needless to say, if anyone is going to throw a Lord of the Rings party right, it's Alex.
